Been pretty stuffy and just exhausted. So far, Ryan loves me being pregnant because I go to bed before midnight, usually before 10, for the first time in my adult life. Tonight is the first night I haven't been totally zonked!
Weird things are making my stomach upset. Had an amazing salmon, bacon, avocado, spinach sandwich today. Not sure which part my tummy didn't like. My orange popsicle is causing some unhappiness.
None of it seems real yet. Bought a book to journal the pregnancy (cause, ya know, here isn't enough), and a Fit Pregnancy mag, but it's still so early. I feel like it'll disappear again.
But, we're putting a lot of effort into making the beginning better than it was last time. For one thing, we're both thrilled. For another, we told Ry's family in person, not over the phone, and we're doing the same for my mom. Going to send my dad a video. And this time Ryan's mom was happy instead of saying, "WHAT!?!!?!?!?!"
Another thing that's on the early side: we both really feel like it's a girl. My friend Christina has a knack for guessing baby genders that she inherited from her grandmother. Since she was a little kid, she guesses she has predicted 50 babies, and has only been wrong once. She says we're having a girl. Here's hoping we maintain her streak!
