We had our mostly annual Christmas party Saturday! It went very well, and our friends didn't even wreck our house this year, so that was a nice change of pace.
I woke up sick the day of the party, but pushed through only to wake up VERY sick the day after the party. 101 fever, shakes, swollen throat, the whole she-bang. Stayed in bed all day and my husband took excellent care of me, bringing me soup, meds, and tea.
Today he is sick and working from home. I'm feeling significantly better, but still not 100%.
Oh, and our heater is broken. During the cold snap, of course. So we're all hanging out in the living room with the fire place on. Nice and cozy till we get to that heater. Bleh.
