Roryisms

Rory was on a role today.

We were listening to Smashing Pumpkins cover of "Landslide" on the radio, and Rory wanted to know if the singer was happy or sad. She asks me this about almost every song.

Me: I think he's kind of thoughtful.
Rory: Is he happy or sad?
Me: I don't think he's either.
Rory: Mommy, I gave you your options.

She also has a sorta imaginary friend, Mareesa (spelled for phonetics sake), whose identity she takes on. While we were in Florida, she was at the pool as Mareesa, and was worried because she couldn't find her friend Rory. Later, she was Rory, but Mareesa was locked in the trunk of the car (whaa?). Ryan was just introduced to Mareesa.

Ryan: Where did you meet Mareesa?
Rory: Aw, she was here before and then I came.
Ryan: And then you came?
Rory. Yeah. What a bummer.
Ryan: I'm going to tickle you.
Rory: Don't tickle me!!
Ryan: Can I tickle Mareesa?
Rory: No, silly, you can't tickle my mind!!

I can't decide if she gets the imaginary thing, or if she was just being a goof.
