Tomorrow is the beginning of finals week. One Monday, one Wednesday. Lots of quilting and making gifts this week. Rory and I are heading to NH Thursday, check in with the family. I'm very glad for the winter break. I need to hibernate and recharge and bake things.
This Christmas, we have no family visiting and we aren't going to CoMo (they're going to Colorado), so we are going to have a culinary adventure. We ordered a goose from a local butcher shop, and we're going to spend the day cooking while the kids play with their toys. A couple we know is going to join us for dinner, which will be fun.
Ryan actually has paid vacation for the first time three years! So we are going to head to the cabin after Christmas and celebrate the New Year there.
