Sigh. Big. Sigh.
Ryan is headed out of town for a week on Friday. We'll be heading to Colorado for an extended Memorial Day weekend when he gets back. Show Aurora the cabin, relax, hike. Maybe fish.
I'm trying to figure out how to survive my week without the husband. I'm considering a few days at my inlaws. Which might just be fun anyway. Other options are a packed schedule--lots of friends coming over, etc etc.
Tomorrow I'm picking up the amazing photos from Christina Lundeen. VERY excited to make my house look like a alter to the tiny's cuteness.
Tiny and I have been having oodles and oodles of fun. She finally finds raspberries on her belly hilarious. She loves to put things in her mouth, especially my fingers, her rattle, and her fist. We've caved a little on the pacifier issue, but she takes it out after she's calmed down and just uses her lobster claw (thumb and first finger). She is still the smiliest, easiest little thing.
One of my favorite things about Ryan as a dad is his appreciation of her girliness. He thinks she looks adorable in pink, and seems to genuinely enjoy having a daughter. We're both thinking a second kiddo might not be so bad. But it'll be a little while.
Song that soothes me:
