To ensure I'm getting plenty of protein (cause I lean towards getting plenty of carbs), I've been drinking protein smoothies. Mostly after workouts, but on non-lift days I do it to feed my sweet tooth.
I switched from chocolate to vanilla protein and OHEMGEE. My world is rocked. Such a difference.
Chocolate protein powder always smells chemically and weird to me. Vanilla smells like cake batter. Tonight I made a smoothie with vanilla protein, strawberries, strawberry greek yogurt, almonds, and spinach. Tastes like a strawberry and cream Frappuccino. Happy sweet tooth.
I also really like vanilla protein with almonds, natural peanut butter, banana, and skim milk. Yummy yummy yummy.
