Hands down, the best part of my birthday was reconnecting with my brother and my friend, Jenny. They both came from out of state to celebrate with me. Coree threw me a little party of sushi and karaoke. It was so, so fun.
Ryan sent me flowers and earrings (he was in Colorado with his family while his grandfather was in hospice. He passed Sunday morning). My cousin Sarah sent me an amethyst necklace (which I'm wearing right now). Jessica came over for brunch and brought an egg bake and three books with coordinating teas. Christie got me bottles of red, champagne, and Lillet Blanc (my fav apertif). And I have an Amazon gift card to spend on myself from my in-laws, as well as a beautiful new travel jewelry case from my step-mom and dad.
